Travertine is a Framer template for interior design agencies — a deliberate synthesis of two things I'd already been exploring separately. It pulls the editorial system from Atelier and the calm, institutional restraint of Vero Estate, applied to a niche that suits blending both: interior design, where atmosphere matters as much as the work itself.

Problem.
Rather than starting from a fresh market gap, this one grew from wanting to combine two directions I'd already built. Atelier proved out a strong editorial system; Vero Estate proved out a calm, restrained feel. Interior design was the niche where mixing both actually made sense — a space that reveals itself gradually rather than announcing itself all at once.

Interior design studios that want to present their work through atmosphere and restraint rather than volume — showing fewer things, more deliberately, instead of packing every screen with content.

Key Decisions.
The core idea — "spaces that reveal themselves gradually" — isn't just a tagline, it's the actual design philosophy: calm comes from what you leave out, not what you show off. Generous whitespace and editorial pacing do the work that ornate detail or dense layouts would otherwise be doing.
The more distinct decision was building a separate CMS collection just for materials — travertine, oak wood, brass — each carrying its own visual identity, referenced by the projects that use them. This is the same underlying pattern I keep landing on across templates: give a concept its own data structure instead of just describing it in text. Vero Estate did this with agents, Atelier did it by breaking paragraphs into individual fields, and Travertine does it with materials as first-class CMS entries.
Technically, this required both a single reference and a multi-reference setup working together — a single reference field to reliably retrieve one primary material's details, and a separate multi-reference field so each project can visibly show more than one material used.
