Noren

Noren Development is a Framer template built as a second real estate template, deliberately different from Vero Estate. Vero Estate was my most successful template, but it was built for agencies selling listings to a home buyer. A development studio's business is different: they're not selling units, they're building trust and credibility to win their next project. Noren is designed around that distinction — a studio showcase, not a property browse.

Problem.

Vero Estate's listing-and-inquire model didn't fit a development studio's actual goal. A studio doesn't want a buyer to browse and schedule a viewing on an individual property — they want a prospective client to see the studio's body of work, understand how they think, and reach out about a new project. That mismatch was the reason for a new template rather than a variant of the old one.

Users.

Boutique development studios — architecture-led, small teams with a real body of completed work — who need to communicate three things to a prospective client: what they do, how they do it, and how well they've done it. The stats section, the philosophy section, and the project archive each answer one of those three questions directly.

Key Decisions.

Visually, this is a deliberate departure from Vero Estate — full-bleed images, typography-led layout, no corner radius, a bolder and more severe presence instead of Vero Estate's softer base. The goal was to make a studio feel confident and established rather than approachable and easy.

Structurally, individual project pages use the same CMS pattern as Vero Estate — one collection, each entry with its own detail page — but the content purpose is opposite. Vero Estate's listing pages sell the property itself: price, beds, baths, schedule a viewing. Noren's project pages sell the studio's thinking and capability: why the project was made, the reasoning behind it, the stats, the images, and the contributors — ending in a contact CTA rather than a booking one.

The four-part philosophy (Place, Craft, Longevity, Context) was AI-generated copy, not something I wrote from scratch. What's mine is the underlying structure: deciding that a development studio's credibility rests on answering what/how/how-well, and building the page architecture — stats, philosophy, project archive — specifically to answer each of those in turn.

Tradeoffs.

The stats section is fully customizable, but a newer or smaller studio without a real track record (12+ developments, 68+ projects) would have to present something more subjective as if it were objective — understandable early on, but a real limitation of a stats-led credibility model.

This template also has a deliberately narrow scope. It was built specifically as a boutique studio showcase — there's no dedicated space for certifications, detailed process breakdowns, or service pricing. That wasn't an oversight; those weren't part of what this template was meant to do.
